Meet Our Team

Alice

Alice - Office Manager

Alice is the Office Manager and Treatment Care Coordinator at Smile Time Kids, where she joined the team in the fall of 2020. She completed her dental assisting training at MCCTC and went on to earn her EFDA certification through the IU School of Dentistry, obtaining both her Certified Dental Assistant credential and her EFDA in 1978. Alice also holds a Radiology License in the State of Indiana and maintains current CPR certification. She has worked in dentistry since 1978, building her career across a wide range of settings that have included general practice, pediatric dentistry, and experience with office sedation procedures. Over the years, she has moved fluidly between clinical and administrative roles, and that combination gives her a depth of perspective that strengthens every aspect of her work at the practice.

Alice's path to dentistry began with a personal experience that left a lasting impression. She had never visited the dentist as a child, but when she finally went as a teenager, her general dentist used a retainer to help correct the position of her lateral teeth, and the care she received gave her a real boost in confidence. That positive experience made dentistry feel genuinely interesting, and she went on to pursue her training at a technical school from there. Today, Alice brings that same warmth to every patient she serves, especially the children at Smile Time Kids. She describes her approach as caring and straightforward, and her joy in working with young patients and helping them build healthy habits is clear in everything she does. Outside the office, Alice is happiest spending time with the people she loves most.

Bri

Brianne - Office Manager

Brianne joined Smile Time Kids in the summer of 2025 and serves as co-manager, bringing experience in clinical care, patient coordination, front office operations, and team leadership. She completed her training through Dental Office Training by Lynn in 2018 and is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with an Indiana State Radiology Permit. Her understanding of both the clinical and administrative sides of dentistry allows her to support patients, parents, and coworkers wherever she is needed most.

Brianne chose dentistry because she genuinely enjoys helping others and making a difference in their lives. She takes a calm, friendly, and compassionate approach to care, especially when a child feels nervous. By building trust and explaining brushing, flossing, and treatment in ways children can understand, Brianne helps them feel safe and discover that dentistry does not have to be scary. She loves forming relationships with families, soothing anxious patients, and seeing children smile. Outside the office, Brianne enjoys gardening, discovering new foods and cultures, and traveling with her husband. They also love spending time with Louie, their Miniature Australian Shepherd, who is their whole world.

Betty

Betty - EFDA Clinical Lead

Betty became part of the Smile Time Kids team in the fall of 2020 and serves as a lead Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She completed her education at IUPUI in May 1987 and is licensed to take dental X rays. With a thoughtful eye for each child’s needs, Betty supports her team while providing patient care rooted in understanding, patience, and empathy. She is especially passionate about oral hygiene instruction and enjoys teaching children how to care for their smiles.

Betty chose dentistry because she wanted to understand it better and use that knowledge to help people. Since her own first dental visit did not take place until she was 15, she recognizes the importance of helping children develop healthy habits and positive feelings about dental care. Betty treats every patient with the same compassion she would show her own daughter, helping children feel safe, valued, and genuinely cared for. Outside the office, she loves spending time with her husband, daughter, son in law, and her grand dogs, Hank, a Mini Goldendoodle, and Abi, a petite Pomeranian. One of her favorite memories is meeting Don Henley in downtown Indianapolis in 1979.

Nathan

Nathan - EFDA

Nathan joined the Smile Time Kids team in the summer of 2023 as a Certified Dental Assistant and Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. He earned an Associate of Applied Science from Ivy Tech Community College in 2023 and has worked in dentistry since that year. Nathan also holds certifications in coronal polishing, fluoride application, infection control, and chairside assisting. His clinical experience, teamwork, and ability to work efficiently alongside the dentist help him provide thorough, individualized care for every child.

Nathan has wanted to help people for as long as he can remember, and he found dentistry to be the place where he could make the greatest difference. He understands the importance of patience because his own childhood dentist carefully explained each step and made sure he felt comfortable. Nathan now offers that same sense of safety to young patients, taking time to understand their concerns and help them feel calm and cared for. He finds it especially rewarding to see a child arrive scared and in pain, then leave happy, comfortable, and pain free. Outside the office, Nathan enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and listening to music. His adventures have included exploring the Great Wall of China, fishing the Winnipeg River system in Canada, and going on safari in Tanzania.

Allison

Allison - EFDA

Allison joined the Smile Time Kids team in the summer of 2025 as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. A 2024 graduate of New Castle Career Center, she holds certifications in dental radiology, coronal polishing, and fluoride application. In her role, Allison takes X rays, polishes teeth, and assists with placing fillings and crowns. She brings an upbeat, energetic approach to every appointment while remaining thorough and attentive to each child’s needs.

Having been afraid of dental visits as a child, Allison understands how overwhelming an appointment can feel for young patients. That experience inspired her to pursue dentistry and help children build happier, more positive memories of dental care. She loves working with kids, making their teeth feel clean and sparkly, and seeing their smiles when treatment is complete. Her outgoing personality and caring heart help children feel safe, supported, and excited about their oral health. Outside the office, Allison enjoys camping, boating at the lake, and spending time with her family and friends. She also loves being with her dogs, Willow, a Lab and Mastiff mix, and Whiskey, a Mini Aussie.

Aubrey

Aubrey holds certifications in dental radiology, CPR, coronal polishing, and fluoride application. Known for her attention to detail, she takes a careful and caring approach to her work while helping each appointment run smoothly.

Aubrey entered the dental field at her father’s suggestion and soon discovered how meaningful it is to help others, especially children. She is naturally good with kids and enjoys making their visits feel comfortable and positive. She still remembers being encouraged to open wide like an alligator during her own childhood dental visits, which gives her a fun and relatable way to connect with young patients. Outside the office, Aubrey enjoys visiting thrift and antique stores, reading, doing crafts, and spending time with her husband, David, their dog, Jill, and their cat, Ellie. She also loves random fun facts, knows the alphabet in German, and enjoys country music from the 1990s.

Ella

Ella - EFDA

Ella joined the Smile Time Kids team in the fall of 2025 as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She completed her education at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2025 and has worked in dentistry since that year. Ella is a Certified Dental Assistant and a member of the Dental Assisting National Board. She also holds certifications in CPR, radiation health and safety, nitrous oxide monitoring, and expanded functions. Whether she is taking X rays, assisting with pediatric dental care, or using her artistic eye as a tooth artist, Ella brings careful attention to detail to everything she does.

Ella was drawn to dentistry by her love of art, health care, and helping people feel confident about their smiles. Curious about every part of dental care from a young age, she now enjoys making visits easier for children by offering positive encouragement and helpful tips. Ella is also open about having had cavities herself, which helps children and parents understand that cavities can happen to anyone and are nothing to feel embarrassed about. Outside the office, she enjoys painting, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family. She also loves her dogs, Drake and Rylo, a Pit Bull and Bully mix.

Kenzie

Kenzie - EFDA

Kenzie joined the Smile Time Kids team in the summer of 2026 as a dental assistant. A 2026 high school graduate, she began gaining experience through dental office internships during her junior year and earned her dental radiology license as a senior. Kenzie prepares clean, welcoming spaces for patients, assists the doctor during exams, and takes images of their teeth. She works efficiently and pays close attention to what her team needs, helping each appointment move smoothly while making sure every patient receives thoughtful care.

Kenzie discovered that dentistry was the right path for her while interning in dental offices. She loves helping children care for their teeth and gums, checking for what she playfully calls sugar bugs, and teaching families healthy habits. Friendly, outgoing, and always ready to talk, Kenzie takes time to explain each part of the visit so children feel calmer and know what to expect. She especially enjoys hearing about their lives, learning how school is going, and watching them grow over the years. Outside the office, Kenzie loves shopping, going to the movies, and spending time with her friends, family and pets.

Now, she loves helping children feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. Her approachable personality, patience, and genuine love for kids make her easy to talk to, while the caring environment at Smile Time Kids inspires her every day. Megan

Megan - Patient Care Coordinator

She graduated from PJ’s College of Cosmetology in 2024 and is certified in CPR. Megan welcomes families, checks patients in for their visits, schedules appointments, and helps wherever she is needed. She entered the dental field to build a career in business administration while learning more about a profession devoted to helping children enjoy healthy, confident smiles. Her ability to learn quickly and support both families and coworkers makes her a dependable part of each visit.

Megan loves seeing children leave the office feeling happy about their smiles, especially when care has helped relieve their pain. With her friendly personality and willingness to lend a hand, Megan helps make each visit welcoming and enjoyable. Outside the office, she enjoys playing video games with her son, turning visits to new local restaurants into adventures, and spending time with her family. Megan is also a nail technician and once earned the honor of naming a local veterans memorial park while she was in seventh grade.

Brayleigh

Brayleigh - Patient Care Coordinator

Brayleigh joined the Smile Time Kids team in the spring of 2026 as a Patient Care Coordinator. She welcomes patients, assists with check in and checkout, answers phone calls, verifies insurance, and helps parents with questions throughout their experience. She is currently continuing her education through UNLV and Ivy Tech. Her caring personality, clear communication, and ability to stay organized in a busy environment allow her to be a friendly and dependable resource for every family who visits the office.

Brayleigh has always been passionate about health care and helping others, and her background in patient care inspired her interest in dentistry. She enjoys building relationships with families, sharing a laugh, and making each visit feel comfortable and easy. Outside the office, Brayleigh enjoys shopping, doing her own Gel X nails, and spending time with her boyfriend, Jake, and her Golden Retriever, Caesar. She also lived in Las Vegas for three years before returning to Indiana.

Sally provides preventive cleanings, takes X rays, applies fluoride, and assists with other tasks wherever she is needed. Her positive, outgoing personality and strong belief in prevention help her connect with families while teaching children how to care for their teeth and build healthy habits.

Sally chose dental hygiene because it allowed her to pursue a meaningful career in health care while remaining present as a mother. She remembers the kindness of her own childhood dental team and brings that same welcoming spirit to her patients today. Sally especially enjoys interacting with children and parents, as well as working closely with the dental assistants to make each visit a positive experience. Rhonda

Rhonda - Dental Hygienist

Rhonda joined the Smile Time Kids team in the summer of 2026 as a dental hygienist. She graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2010, has worked in dental hygiene since that year, and is certified to provide local anesthesia. Before entering dentistry, Rhonda spent 20 years teaching preschool and driving a school bus. Her experience with children complements her hygiene skills as she provides patient care, supports sterilization, prepares treatment chairs, and helps her team wherever she is needed within her scope of care.

Rhonda takes a gentle, calming approach and meets every child where they are. She laughs with outgoing patients, offers quiet reassurance to reserved children, and serves as a steady presence for anyone feeling afraid. Because her own childhood dental experiences felt rough and offered little comfort, she is especially passionate about helping children work through anxiety and discover that an appointment can be fun. Your child should see the dentist at the age of 1 year, or within 6 months of the appearance of his or her first tooth. A quick checkup will be done and x-rays taken to ensure the baby teeth are growing properly. If your child has multiple teeth already, they'll be counted and quickly cleaned.
